Description

The Deal Team Coordinator will assist more than 50 General Construction Sales Representatives with administrative tasks. These administrative tasks include the creation of the quote to managing the lifecycle of the quote to invoicing. The Deal Coordinator role is responsible for quoting and invoicing more than $330M of revenue. This role requires critical thinking skills, deep understanding of the construction/equipment industry.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:



  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Responsible for quoting more than $330M for more than 50 General Construction Representatives.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of sales quotes to remove administrative constraints and maximize customer facing activities for the sales teams
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of Compact Construction, Earth Moving and Excavation equipment
  • Knowledge of construction equipment sales industry
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Intermediate computer and related software application skills
  • Basic understanding of business accounting principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under fast-paced, time constraining circumstances


Education and Experience:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or related field preferred
  • Up to two years of related experience preferred


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • None


Travel:



  • Up to 10% travel may be expected

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position
  • Occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

  • This position frequently communicates with Sales Team, Marketing, and Finance Teams; Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Occasionally moves or transports items weighing up to 10 lbs.


Work Environment:



  • This job is generally performed in a professional office, in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
