Here's what you'd do:

• Responsibilities include translating requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our C5 and Cyber Solution Centers.
• The selected candidate will apply technical proficiency across various stages of our SDLC, gather requirements, and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and scope tasks.
• The selected candidate will be a key Scrum team member and will be instrumental in setting our direction and strategy for product and infrastructure development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in embedded software application development for the engineering team by providing guidance and direction to one or more software engineers.
• Investigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in developing software for the target hardware.
• Work closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational performance requirements, and the overall system design.
• Support and participate in all software development life cycle phases, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test.
• Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
• Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results.
• Participate in peer reviews, identify, track, and repair defects.
• Utilize a variety of software languages (primarily C/C++ and Python), implementing software for embedded real-time operating systems.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $73.55 - $112.58/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp to Perm (12 Months).

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of C++ (up to C++ 14) and Python experience with real-time embedded systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing simulated and target hardware applications.

• Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• NSA Type 1 certification or other SW certification such as DO-178.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good teamwork skills, able to work in a team environment.
• Object-oriented design and implementation experience, with exposure to software modeling and UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo.
• Familiarity with RUST software languages.
• Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems.
• Experience with Modern C++ techniques.
• Experience with Information Assurance and/or cryptography.

• Active Secret DoD Clearance.
