What you'll be doing...

As the Associate Director of Mobile Performance Management, you will be responsible for leading a team that will manage Mobile Base Marketing team's KPIs by establishing targets, developing forecasts, and tracking performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities. You will work closely with the strategic CAR teams to ingest strategic roadmaps and translate into actionable and measurable metrics to provide reporting, guidance and insights back to the teams and also act as a liaison to stakeholders including, but not limited to, Finance, Device Marketing, Supply Chain, Value Prop, and Senior Leadership. You will be responsible for driving both data-driven bottom up recommendations as well as adapting to top down requirements from executive leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building short/long-term mobile base marketing plans and KPI targets.

  • Leading a team in modeling & forecasting, marketing analytics, campaign optimization and insights & visualizations.

  • Developing and implementing advanced models and methodologies to predict customer behavior, revenue/sales and relational impacts to churn.

  • Enhancing marketing campaign performance through deep-dive analytics and ROI measurement.

  • Establishing KPIs and performance metrics for mobile base marketing programs.

  • Facilitating business case proposal and alignment between Finance and Marketing.

  • Building reporting and presentations to effectively communicate trends, insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Managing retention budget and drive cost efficiency/efficacy metrics.

  • Conducting cohort analysis to derive trends, insights, recommendations and course corrections on retention efforts.

What we're looking for...

You are a numbers person but are strategic-minded. You understand data and make sense of it in a business context to deliver easily digestible narratives. You have a natural curiosity in and the ability to dissect complex data into actionable insights. You have a knack for visualizing and presenting your data that anyone can understand. You can inspire and motivate others to deliver your vision. You view obstacles as puzzles to be solved. People trust you based on your thoughtful and detailed analyses and recommendations.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training

  • Experience in analytics, strategic marketing, demand planning, financial planning, or financial analysis.

  • Experience creating compelling narratives to influence decision makers.

  • Experience building detailed and compelling financial business cases.

  • Expertise in data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, G-suite, etc.).

  • Experience working with big data sets and relational databases.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • MBA or a Master's degree in a quantitative field.

  • Knowledge of the wireless industry and experience with promo development.

  • Experience in wireless or telecommunication industry.

  • Ability to think strategically and to "see the big picture".

  • Ability to believe that solid data should be behind every important decision and are a numbers person with a strategic mindset, strong business and financial acumen.

  • Understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so that people can understand.

  • Ability to create actionable recommendations based on learnings from the data.

  • Ability to adapt to new challenges to overcome short-term hurdles by staying focused on the team's deliverables.

  • Proven effectiveness in driving successful completion of large, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Experience with AI, ML, and Predictive Analytics.

  • Prior experience with people leadership.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $103,000.00 - $198,000.00.
