Now Hiring: Cable Technician - Nashville, TN TEKsystems Inc. \| Full-Time \| On-site \| Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM The Opportunity TEKsystems is hiring skilled Cable Technicians to support our client's high-profile projects throughout the Nashville area. You'll help install cable pathways and infrastructure across commercial buildings, working directly with customers to deliver excellent service while growing within a company that values training and career advancement. Your Day-to-Day * Install low voltage cabling for voice, data, and CCTV systems * Build cable pathways and pull cable throughout large commercial sites * Mount and terminate jacks and hardware with accuracy and pride * Engage with clients professionally while working in the field * Follow safety guidelines with proper PPE on active construction sites What You Bring * Minimum 6 months experience in low voltage or electrical installation * Familiarity with Cat6, punch down tools, voice/data systems, and CCTV equipment * Basic low voltage tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) * Reliable attendance and strong teamwork mentality * Desire to learn, grow, and excel in a fast-paced environment Bonus Skills * Exposure to access control systems * Strong communication and attention to detail * Passion for delivering quality work Work Environment * Active construction sites throughout Nashville * Casual but safe: Jeans, steel-toed boots, and full PPE required * Standard weekday hours; limited travel may be required Why Join TEKsystems? * Work with our client, a respected technology integrator headquartered in Nashville * Enjoy a supportive team environment focused on growth and learning * Access career advancement opportunities and industry certifications * Help build the future of connected buildings across the Southeast Wired for success? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
