Job Summary:

The Production Control Specialist is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the production process to ensure the manufacturing runs efficiently and meets customer demands. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing inventory levels, tracking production progress, and resolving any issues that may impact deadlines or quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor workflow, material availability, and capacity to ensure timely completion of production goals.

- Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are ordered and available as needed.

- Track and report on production metrics (e.g. output rates, delays, capacity utilization).

- Communicate production issues or delays to relevant departments and help develop corrective actions.

- Maintain accurate records or production orders, material usage, and inventory levels.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- Use ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred.

- Proficient in ERP/MRP Systems

- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Ability tor prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
