View all jobs MRO Inventory Controller Milwaukee, Wisconsin * Manufacturing Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. As a result of our continuing expansion and continued organization growth, we are looking for a motivated MRO Inventory Controller to join our team. Position Summary: This position will be responsible for: Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships Building physical inventory for spare parts in support of industrial maintenance repair operations in multiple locations in the Milwaukee area Building inventory control utilizing modern user friendly CMMS Working closely with our maintenance and purchasing teams to order parts for both stock and machine down conditions Researching current and potential new vendors Monitoring critical path items and make necessary adjustments Ensuring stock data/ Hands on inventory control (there will be floor time in this role). Qualifications: Strong negotiation, decision making and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Working knowledge of Purchasing related duties and responsibilities Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook Familiarity with Maintenance Repair Operations in an industrial setting Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor Purchasing experience in a manufacturing organization Familiarity with MaintainX CMMS Global Power Components is interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
