Job Summary

The Expeditor will deliver support to Cenero operations by purchasing and tracking specific equipment and materials for company projects. They will be responsible for following and reporting on orders from purchase to shipment, as well as tracking requests from other departments. Thinking independently within the specified guidelines, the Expeditor will be able to effectively interact with vendors, employees, customers and colleagues, demonstrating the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Promptly answer requests for status and tracking updates from project managers or other operations personnel on ordered equipment by using purchase order and bill of materials information
  • Reach out to vendors to obtain current status information for parts and equipment
  • Use Cenero reports and database to inform Operations Personnel of what jobs may be delayed or are expected to have the equipment available on time.
  • Respond to any notifications in a timely and proficient manner, prioritizing requests based on job priority
  • Promptly communicate backordered items to the interested employees, and provide an estimated ship date for the backordered items
  • Inform accounting of any credit holds that are discovered when inquiring with the vendor
  • Purchase, track and provide updates for change orders received from operations or sales.
  • Assist with Cenero RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes including acquiring return authorizations and tracking material returns to vendors
  • Effectively communicate and document activities
  • Keep digital records up to date (i.e. Cenero database, Logistics reports, documentation)
  • Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team centric environment
  • Other Responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Familiarity with audio-visual solutions is preferred
  • Experience with Great Plains or similar software is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates a high level of organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, changing environment
  • Possesses ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Ability to prioritize and possess excellent problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be well organized and show attention to detail.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, or related software.


Physical Demands



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; and talk or hear.
  • Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.


Work Environment

This on-site position is based in our Malvern, PA. Must report to the office five days a week, Monday through Friday.
