POSITION SUMMARY:

As an HR Specialist your day will look like:

This role acts as liaison between business stakeholders, employees, and ATI Centers of Excellence (benefits, payroll, employee leave, talent acquisition, etc.) to support the HR department in providing an excellent employee experience. You will support HR initiatives, recruitment, administrative tasks, and partnering with shared services. You will help ensure that the department functions efficiently and effectively. You will assist to align critical human resources principles with business objectives. You will be in a supportive role as a coach, mentor, and partner to business leaders.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



  • Support all onboarding activities for new hires - including facilitating new hire orientation.
  • Serve as a partner to people managers by providing support related to HR functions - including training, policy guidance and interpretration, and time and attendance.
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, employees, and ATI Centers of Excellence (benefits, payroll, employee leave, talent acquisition, etc.) to support the HR department.
  • Support the development, communication, and implementation of Human Resources functions' goals, objectives, and activities in support of ATI's business strategies and objectives.
  • Assist in the coordination of recruitment functions - including requisition entry and tracking, hiring events, scheduling interviews, building recruitment partnerships, and attending recruitment meetings.
  • Assist with the submission of and maintenance of employee records.
  • Assist with preparing reporting to support the business stakeholders - including, headcount, turnover, retention, attendance, and others.
  • Assist with analyzing trends and metrics with the HR group to recommend solutions, programs and policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide customer support in resolving HR-related issues.
  • Conduct or participate in meetings with respective leaders regarding HR functions.
  • Assist with facilitation of the exit process for departing employees.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as assigned in accordance with established with Company mission and values.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:

BASIC REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • 3+ Years of relevant work experience in a human resources function or related function.
  • Ability to work in an environment that has a high level of confidentiality.



PREFERRED REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MO 365 Suite and HRIS Software (i.e. ADP, or similar).
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP Preferred).
