TrackVia Implementation Engineers work with new and existing customers to build their customized applications. As part of the Technical Solutions team, they must ensure customers have a smooth transition deploying a new software platform within their organization. From gathering partner requirements to designing and building applications, this role demands a curious and organized individual who can dive into the technical trenches while simultaneously building excitement and cultivating strong relationships with TrackVia customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects on a schedule from scoping to launch
- Gather requirements and partner with customers to define their workflows
- Translate scope into a comprehensive project plan in order to build the architecture and workflow of their online application
- Design databases and build tables, forms, filtered/formatted reports, dashboards and set up user permissions
- Set proper expectations and meet project milestones
Facilitate technical discussions to clarify requirements, define technical approaches, and troubleshoot complex issues during implementation
- Assist with the app deployment and user-acceptance-training on the TrackVia platform
- Conduct post-project retrospectives to assess opportunities for further development and areas for improvement with internal processes
Identify and proactively mitigate project risks and remove blockers to ensure smooth delivery
- Advocate and promote "best practices" to ensure long term app success & ownership
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to advance the quality of our services
Additional Responsibilities - Project Management Focus
Drive cross-functional alignment by coordinating between internal technical teams (engineers, onboarding, education) and customer stakeholders
Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including statement of works, project timelines, and status reports
Lead internal stand-ups, milestone planning, and project status meetings to ensure team accountability and delivery predictability
Manage change requests by assessing impacts to scope, timeline, and resources, ensuring client alignment before execution
Preferences
- Experience with consultative scoping and problem definition
- Account management / Customer Success / Onboarding / Project Management experience
- Data modeling expertise with sound understanding of relational database principles
- Experience with Low Code Application Development
- Technology enthusiasm/passion/aptitude
- Analytical problem solving
- Excellent written communications: clarity, brevity, grammar
- Excellent verbal communications: articulate, cooperative, patient, listening skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Docs User
- Formulas, logical functions, charts, reports
- Software as a Service (SaaS) application experience
- Strong project management skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Salary & Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $113,000*, depending upon experience (range includes incentive plan).
- This role is eligible to participate in the Implementation Performance Incentive plan which may qualify for additional pay up to 20% of the base salary.
