Description The Clinical Quality team oversees and is responsible of HEDIS medical record review pursuit and overall HEDIS submission. The HEDIS Coordinator Entry Level will report to the Supervisor of the HEDIS Outreach Team. In this role you will be responsible for conducting provider outreach during the HEDIS season for medical record pursuit and retrieval. Also participation in Quality initiatives involving member outreach for care gap closure. Responsible for maintaining high productivity and standard work. Call provider offices & hospitals to request medical records for Medicare PPO population. Record progress, data entry in abstraction tool Coordinate with Administrative Lead and Medical record reviewers to manage caseload Communicate with BSC MRR Team to effectively manage project assignment Will work as a member of a team to coordinate and maintain a system to organize the medical records and other materials/resources that are required for the overall MRR processes to work and flow effectively Make follow-up calls regarding expected charts, provide information to offices Send fax requests to providers Research provider information and claims information using online websites/internal applications Daily use of Microsoft Excel to manage various projects and report to leads on progress and barriers Perseverance to find the correct information to retrieve the medical record Other duties as assigned, including possible minimal traveling Skills* customer service, HEDIS, Medical Records, Member service, Excel, MS Office, Healthcare, Right FAx, Adobe Top Skills Details customer service, HEDIS, Medical Records, Member service, Excel,MS Office, Healthcare Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
