Overview The Senior Director of AI Enablement is a visionary and strategic leader of our AI Center of Excellence (known as the Children's Mercy IDEA Lab) and drives AI-powered transformations across our pediatric health system. This role will shape and execute an enterprise-wide AI strategy, with a particular focus on Generative AI and its potential to revolutionize clinical care, operations, and research. Senior Director will be a dynamic leader, strategic consultant, and technical expert who can partner with executive leadership, technology teams, and business units to deliver impactful, responsible, and scalable AI solutions. Senior Director will not just add incremental improvements, rather the AI Enablement Senior Director will lead a transformative shift in how the enterprise operates. Strategic Leadership & Vision: Provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide Generative AI adoption by partnering with executive leadership, research, and business units to identify, prioritize, and implement high-impact AI solutions that drive innovation in diagnostics, therapeutics, and operational efficiency.

The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area or request advanced approval to work outside of the area and may attend onsite meetings, as scheduled.
