We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to support our marketing operations, event execution, and content initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives on organization, enjoys supporting a variety of projects, and wants to build a strong foundation in marketing operations and coordination. The role will suit someone who is a team player, takes the initiative to keep projects moving forward, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Trade Shows: Assist with trade show responsibilities, under the direction of Event Operations Leader, such as inspecting show product, confirming logistics, vendor pickups and deliveries, and organizing materials for booth setup and staff needs. (20%)

2. Facilitation of Social Media Content: Maintain and update the social media calendar, coordinate with copywriter and designers, and ensure post topics align with current marketing activities and deliverables, under the direction of the marketing team. (20%)

3. Marketing Projects: Assist the marketing team by coordinating smaller projects from start to finish, under the direction of Event Operations Leader, ensuring timelines are met, stakeholders are informed, and deliverables are executed efficiently. (20%)

4. Marketing Admin: Manage general administrative duties such as submitting purchase order requests, check requests, scheduling, and providing operational support to keep team projects running smoothly. (30%)

5. Training Coordination: Support the Senior Product Marketing Specialist with the management of marketing-led training sessions; scheduling training, maintaining attendance records, and ensuring post-training materials are delivered to all attendees. (5%)

Corporate Activities: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement activities, recognition events, and other initiatives led by the corporate activities committee. (5%)

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  2. Ability to manage multiple tasks and small projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  3. Experience supporting marketing activities through internships or coursework, such as event coordination, social media content scheduling, or basic campaign support.
  4. Familiarity with B2B marketing concepts or exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  5. Comfortable learning and using new tools and technologies to support marketing operations.
  6. Experience using basic AI tools or platforms for content creation, scheduling, or research is a plus.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize daily responsibilities effectively.
  8. Willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and proactively support team goals in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Internship or up to 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably supporting events, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
  10. Familiarity with basic marketing concepts, including social media coordination, content development processes, and event or trade show support.
  11. Exposure to marketing tools or platforms such as social media scheduling tools, CRM systems, or email marketing software. Experience working within Sprout Social and/or Salesforce is a plus.
  12. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  13. Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  14. Proactive and curious mindset - eager to learn, take initiative, and find better ways to support projects and team goals.
  15. Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and assisting with a variety of projects.
  16. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; familiarity with design tools or Canva is a plus.
  17. Ability to manage multiple tasks and small projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
