Position Title: Maintenance Technician Wage: $25.00 - $32.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Thursday At our client company in Merrill, WI we're not just building products - we're building a future. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, press brakes, welders, and other metal fabrication equipment - Troubleshoot and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems - Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled machinery and assist with program adjustments or modifications as needed - Maintain, service, and calibrate CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision - Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime - Perform facility maintenance duties, including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems - Track maintenance activities and parts used via maintenance management software or work order systems Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - Previous maintenance experience - Electromechanical experience and a commitment to continuous training, especially in automation - Ability to perform routine maintenance on all machines as required - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Exceptional mechanical aptitude, with electrical experience and troubleshooting ability - Strong attention to quality workmanship and accuracy - Good organizational skills - Excellent attendance - Ability to lift up to 50lbs - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
