Position Title: Quality Coordinator
Salary: $41,600-$62,400/year Shift: 1st Hours: 5:45am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Quality Coordinator for a company in Rockford, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity. Quality Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Monitor and direct Quality Technicians - Monitor and report on Quality activities, processes, and procedures as directed by Quality System - Perform regular inspection audits and reviews to ensure employees adhere to Quality System procedures and processes - Communicate and work in coordination with Production Manager to provide quality specific guidance to Lead Packers and Team Leaders - Provide Quality planning and support among internal departments - Create and implement work instructions as needed - Create Quality Alerts and related documents as needed - Assist with the development of new projects, processes, and procedures - Working knowledge of PPAP documentation and ability to provide data as required - Working knowledge of PFMEA's - Address all non-conformance and SCAR issues - Identify areas that need continuous improvement - Perform and document Root Cause Analysis - Working knowledge of 8D methodology and ability to use as part of Corrective Actions - Working knowledge of 5 Whys methodology and ability to use as a part of Corrective Actions - Produce quality reporting per Quality System or as needed - Promote and support a safe working environment - Participate in weekly Quality meetings - Communicate with customers regarding Quality concerns - Communicate with Quality Manager to ensure continued customer satisfaction while protecting company interests - Other duties as assigned Quality Coordinator Requirements: - Associate degree or 5+ years of related experience - Ability to interpret drawings and/ or product specifications - PC spreadsheet skills and database skills - Knowledge of quality systems and processes - Regularly talk, hear, walk and stand - Sit, carry, kneel, reach, climb and handle - Clear vision at 20 inches or less (can be correctable with lenses) and the ability to adjust eyes to bring an object into focus - Ability to perform hands-on work; work is performed in an administrative office and manufacturing plant setting - Must be flexible and available to work additional hours when necessary QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
