Completions Technical Specialist Iin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: DUTIES: Assist with the planning, coordination, performance of design, structural analysis, and liaison engineering supporting the development and production of company products and services. Contribute to planning, developing, and coordinating of important engineering certification projects. Provide specialized technical assistance to team members. Use advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult analytical problems. Determine and develop own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives. Work under limited supervision, having work reviewed only for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives. Act as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area. Actively work to improve daily processes and ensure all work meets customer requirements. Maintain a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field required. Five years of experience in job offered or related engineering position required, including any experience with: aircraft structural analysis of primary, secondary, and interiors to show compliance to FAA (14 CFR Part 25) and/or EASA (CS-25) certification; advanced solid mechanics, statics, mechanics of materials, and usage of finite element methods for analysis not restricted to static analysis; and with the creation of stress reports showing compliance to regulatory requirements to obtain approvals and STCs of aircraft projects. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field and five years of experience, Employer will accept a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field and three years of the above-listed experience or a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field and one year of the above-listed experience. Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 ys in specific technical discipline or 10 yrs broad eng experience in several technical disciplines. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters, 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
