About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Program Manager to join us.

As Program Manager for this task order, provide oversight, direction and overall program governance in support of an IT environment with over 20,000 end-users across 400+ sites. Directly manage and coordinate a number of simultaneous projects and activities through all phases of the project life cycle (PMLC) and in accordance with OCIO's PMLC and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework. Manage and maintain Contractor interface with the senior levels of the OCIO and Department as required. Consult with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules, costs, performance, and contractual obligations. Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to OCIO leadership, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and

prepare and deliver executive level briefings on overall program performance.

Communicate extensively and effectively across all levels of leadership. Ensure a structure is in a place to promote consistent, high quality delivery; ensuring conformance with work standards. Lead all task order activities and interface directly with the OCIO executive leadership.

Required Experience:

    Must possess excellent communication (Oral and written) skills, attention to detail, problem solving and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple related projects and navigate complex IT activities that span functions of organizations and regions to align results with organizational goals.
  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing IT O&M operations support functions for a large disperse organization within the federal sector.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using agile to implement projects within a federal Government environment, as well as managing an agile team.
  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract IT O&M operations support functions and multi-faceted, complex, and inter-related IT projects with a combined scope over 15,000 users and 50 sites in WAN/LAN environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large sized team (100 or more resources).
  • Ability and experience to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities, as well as prioritize workload based on needs of the customer.
  • Experience managing teams of contract support personnel with diverse IT skill sets at multiple locations.
  • Experience maintaining and managing client interface at senior levels across multiple client organizations.
  • Meets with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
  • Experience in overseeing and formulating project management support documents and plans, and assisting federal managers, project managers, and/or project management support staff in coordinating formulation of such.
  • At least 15 years of successful enterprise experience in an IT or technology-related field, with the last 5 years within the last 15 years, on large Government or commercial technical contract.
  • At least 15 years of team lead experience supporting an enterprise O & M infrastructure within a federal Government environment.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Program Manager, overseeing multiple, simultaneously executed projects, in an organization of similar size and scope.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related discipline. An MBA or Master Degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline is preferred.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification that is current (i.e. PMI's continuing education requirement met), or a Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is required.
  • Certification in at least ITIL v3 Foundations certification is desired but not required

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
