Description Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine the appropriate premium base for a variety of insurance lines, including Worker's Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability (a.k.a. Errors and Omissions) Obtain descriptions of business operations, employee job duties, and other relevant information over the phone and through email Determine if proper insurance classification codes have been assigned to customer policies according to the state manuals and suggest class code changes when appropriate Adjust premiums based on state manual rules, such as officer wage adjustments, premium overtime credits, tip credits, etc. Complete audit worksheets using an Excel template and process the audit findings in our database Provide superior customer service to the policyholders throughout the audit process Resolve customer disputes regarding audit results Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field (finance, business, accounting) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and has an aptitude to learn other software applications Excellent oral and written communication skills Detail oriented with a high accuracy rate Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42681.60 - $42681.60/yr.
