Job Title: Data Center Decommissioning Technician Location: Ashburn, VA (with future assignments in Sterling and Manassas) Job Type: Full-Time, Contract Openings: 10 Positions Schedule: Monday-Friday Job Summary: We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Decommissioning Technicians to support ongoing decom projects across multiple data center campuses. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in data center environments who are looking to grow their careers in IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: * Perform rack and stack operations for hardware installation and removal * Execute decommissioning tasks including hardware disassembly and asset tagging * Support hardware troubleshooting and break/fix ticket resolution * Assist with equipment deployment and inventory management * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion Qualifications: * Previous experience in a data center environment preferred * Familiarity with decommissioning processes and hardware handling * Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware components * IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are a plus * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Additional Information: * Initial work location is Ashburn, VA * Team will later be distributed across Sterling and Manassas campuses * Contract expected to extend up to 12 months based on performance and project needs Why Join Us?
