The Team:

Mattel's US Commercial Marketing team localizes the global brand strategy to perform in our largest market. The team is responsible for sell-in, line selection, pricing, managing the regional P&L and driving the go-to-market strategy for the U.S. The Associate Marketing Manager for Dolls will help lead marketing and business operations, for assigned Dolls properties to achieve financial growth and deliver against KPIs.

The Opportunity:

The Associate Marketing Manager will provide support with marketing and business operations to achieve financial growth and deliver against KPIs for their respective brands. This role will support the Senior Marketing Manager who is responsible for managing non-licensed Dolls portfolios. A deep understanding of the marketing mix coupled with a strong analytical background will help drive our brands forward.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Manage day-to-day marketing and business operations, including P&L management and ad-hoc reporting
  • Leverage data to thoroughly understand performance and make informed decisions on how to drive sales, gain share, and optimize brand strategies
  • Manage commercialization - including sell-in to key customers, channel segmentation programs, and pricing
  • Deliver in depth forecasting, tracking, and performance reports to impact marketing mix
  • Develop brand by activating key marketing programs in the US market
  • Drive marketing execution by working with a cross-functional team inclusive of Sales, Global Brand Marketing, Omni-channel Retail Marketing, Demand Planning, etc.
  • Become an expert in the category to help drive decisions that lead to share growth

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field; MBA preferred

Experience, knowledge, skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years (3 years with MBA) experience in consumer or brand marketing
  • Advanced understanding of standard marketing techniques
  • Demonstrated leadership, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required
  • Ability totake conclusions from data and communicate and presentthose actionable insights to leadership and business executives
  • Comfortable taking ownership to drive discussions with cross functional partners resulting in a consensus recommendation

Preferred Soft Skills:

  • Experience presenting to key stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills
  • Established interpersonal skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
  • A problem-solving mentality with the ability to quickly adapt to changing customer needs

The annual base salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $125,000.

**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
