    $80,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • What You'll Do:

    • Lead a team managing campus maintenance, renovations, and facility improvements.
    • Oversee preventative maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (EPA, OSHA, NATEF, ACCSC).
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and productive environment for students and staff.
    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee facility-related budgets.
    • Build and develop a high-performing team through training, performance management, and recognition.


Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance.
  • 1-3 years of managerial experience
  • Licensed and/or certified in one or more of the following areas is preferred; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general contractor.

Skills

  • Interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate level in functional skills; HVAC, painting, electrical, plumbing, welding, safe use of power and hand tools.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential.
  • Ability to provide flexible and adaptable work schedules.
  • Ability to maintain professional image and work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with Campus Leaders, internal and external partners.
  • Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and follow through on work.

Abilities

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 25% or less of the workday.
  • Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday.
  • Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Regular business hours, occasional overtime and travel.
  • On Call availability.
