Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50% remote) and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The contributions you will make:

This position plays a critical role in supporting the success of the Partner Lending team by coordinating and facilitating the day-to-day operations of correspondent relationships and partner loan transactions. Key responsibilities include managing loan documentation, tracking application progress, coordinating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. The incumbent supports the entire loan lifecycle-from application through closing-ensuring timelines are met and all parties are aligned. Serves as a key liaison between internal lending teams and external partners, to ensure a seamless, efficient, and accurate lending process.

A typical day:



  • Acts as a liaison between partners and Compeer Underwriting and Processing teams.
  • Reviews applications submitted by partners to ensure all required information is filled out, and the appropriate supporting documentation required to make a credit decision is included.
  • Responds to client inquiries including questions on specific loans in process, general processes and guideline inquiries.
  • Works to Onboard new prospects and clients using our approved internal process which includes the use of SharePoint, Salesforce, Encompass, and TPO Connect.
  • Works with Partner Loan Officers on Loan Origination System access and training.
  • Communicates with Partner Loan Officers frequently via phone or email regarding loan status, finding an appraiser, program updates, process updates, rate questions etc.
  • Escalates identified issues to Relationship Managers to address and alleviate.
  • Works with Relationship Managers to create and update marketing materials.
  • Maintains cross functional collaboration with System Admins, Credit, Appraisal, and Closing department.


The skills and experience we prefer you have:



  • Associate's degree in business administration, finance, agribusiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Intermediate-level experience in lending, with direct client experience, preferably in sales, training, servicing or other related function.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.

Base Pay

$56,400 - $80,200 USD
