Due to a planned transition, Bay State Bank is searching for our next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the CFOwill be a key member of the bank's executive leadership team and will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the organization. This individual will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, asset/liability management, regulatory reporting, and investment portfolio oversight. The CFO will also serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, helping to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the long-term financial strength and sustainability of the bank. The ideal candidate will be a proven financial executive with at least10 yearsof progressive experience in banking or financial services, a strong knowledge of bank accounting and regulatory reporting, and a commitment to community-focused banking.The ideal candidate is well rounded, an innovative thinker, and can develop and execute effective financial strategies. Strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence at all levels, are essential.
