Student Research Assistant willconduct various aspects of research protocols that examine topics such as the health and emotional effects of caring for a spouse with a memory disorder, physical and emotional effects of undergoing a stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma and it's effects on the spousal caregivers. (see www.wexnermedical.osu.edu/stresslab for current study descriptions). Assists with study visits, running fMRI cognitive assessments, and collection of data. Conduct data entry and cleaning and gain limited experience with cognitive testing and physical performance tests. Gain familiarity with psychology self-report measures in the areas of depression, anxiety, social support, and others. Recruitment of subjects. Answering and responding to phone calls. Sending out study information to potential research subjects. Dictation, transcription and checking of oral interviews. Performing various literature searches and organize references. Required Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalency; must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU. Desired Qualifications Background in Psychology. |
