DLO Dispatcher

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Monday-Friday 11:30am-8pm

Essential Functions of Employment with DLO:
* Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day
* Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform
* Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis

As a Dispatcher, you will plan and schedule all incoming and out going courier routes to obtain efficient customer coverage. You will answer telephone calls from clients and resolve the client concerns and problems. Demonstrate organizations commitment and promote a positive image to clients, employees and the public in general.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills
• Previous dispatching experience
• Knowledge of computer based dispatching system
• Good customer service skills necessary

Able to handle a high volume of telephone calls; Able to handle a fast paced environment; Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements; weekends, holidays, on call and overtime.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• This position may require long periods of sitting and/or standing
• In office, extensive use of phone and computer
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Prolonged standing / sitting
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
