Summary:

We are seeking a research student to support psychological and medical
research projects within the Hasbro Children's Partial Hospitalization Program
(HCPHP). The position requires a commitment of 8-10 hours per week during the
fall semester, with the possibility of renewal based on funding availability,
program needs, and student interest.

The HCPHP is a unique day treatment program that treats patients with
co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions. HCPHP's treatment model
emphasizes integrated care, with intensive expertise across multiple
disciplines (e.g., pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, nursing, nutrition, and
rehabilitation therapy).

The research student will support ongoing projects. Specific tasks may
include assisting with literature reviews, data entry and cleaning, and other
tasks integral to research. The research student may have the opportunity to
participate in generating presentations, reports, and manuscripts as the data permit.
This opportunity will provide excellent research training to undergraduate
students with an interest in psychology, medicine, public health, or related
fields.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

1. Participate in weekly and monthly research
meetings.

2. Assist with data entry and management.

3. Conduct literature reviews and support manuscript
preparation, oral presentations, and poster presentations.

4. Support administrative tasks related to
project management and documentation.

Other information:

Requirements

1. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology,
public health, data science, or a related field.

2. Ability to commit to the position for a full semester.

3. Familiarity with basic research concepts.

4. Ability to work independently in a
collaborative interdisciplinary team when provided with adequate guidance and
support.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.

6. Familiarity with relevant computer
applications and/or ability to learn new applications as needed (i.e.,
Microsoft Office Suite, SPSS).
