We are actively looking for an experienced retirement specialist to join our Total Rewards team at Donaldson as our next Senior Benefits Analyst - Retirement. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with have prior experience working with retirement vendors. This person will work cross-functionally within the company and must have strong communication skills. This is a great opportunity to work with a successful and driven team. Ideal candidates must be able to work in the Bloomington, MN office on a hybrid work schedule.

Role Responsibilities:

RETIREMENT PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION (75%)

  • Responsible for the daily and the ongoing administration of U.S. retirement plans (Defined Contribution and/or Defined Benefit), including vendor coordination and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop and deliver timely, clear, and engaging communications related to U.S. retirement benefits for employees, business leaders, and HR partners.

  • Resolve complex inquiries related to plan design, administration, and participant experience for both DC and DB plans.

  • Manage all DC Plan funding activities, including annual and year-end contribution and true-up match calculations.

  • Prepare and fulfill data requests related to quarterly and annual regulatory filings.

  • Analyze employee research and data analytics to assess program effectiveness and inform design.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of plan administration.

  • Lead the implementation of regulatory and plan design changes in collaboration with HRIS, Payroll, Legal, and vendors.

  • Recommend and implement retirement plan design and process improvements aligned with Total Rewards strategy.

  • Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to modernize plan administration, improve service delivery, and streamline processes.

BENEFIT PROJECTS (25%)

  • Support and lead special initiatives related to benefits strategy and cross-functional Benefits or Total Rewards projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working with retirement benefits at a public company.

  • Prior experience working with retirement vendors directly

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 7+ years of relevant benefits experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of U.S. retirement plans, including relevant legal and tax regulations.

  • Prior experience working with Fidelity would be beneficial

  • CEBS certification

  • Strong cross-functional influencing and collaboration skills (HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, vendor relationships, etc.).

  • Ability to communicate complex technical retirement matters effectively at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.

  • Proven project management capabilities, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and keen commitment to drive continuous improvements with little supervision.

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

  • Experience working with Workday.

Travel: Up to 5% as needed

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Annual Salary Range: $78,400 - 100,900.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
