KIOXIA America Inc. is seeking a Financial Planner to support US Sales and R&D teams in increasing corporate value. This role involves significant interaction with cross-functional and senior management teams, focusing on financial activities that drive business decisions and compliance. Serve as a bridge between KIOXIA America Inc. and corporate headquarter in Japan. Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage semi-monthly forecasts and semi-annual budgeting processes.
- Financial Close Activities: Lead activities including validating financial data, recording journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and providing audit support.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze monthly financial results, focusing on sales, gross margin, inventory, and key expenses. Track and project future expenditures like Capex, SG&A, and headcount.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform trend analysis, communicate business changes to stakeholders, and recommend solutions.
- Operational Support: Ensure daily spend activities comply with company policies and provide support to key stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between Finance and business unit.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Conduct ad hoc analysis, prepare financial models, and manage projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: BS Degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years in financial planning and analysis, ideally in a high-technology company.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, understanding of financial statements (P&L, BS, CF), and strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, proactively identify and solve problem, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented.
- Ideal Candidate Traits: The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, demonstrating a strong sense of task ownership and follow-through capabilities. Candidate should also possess the ability to lead within the business and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
