Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:



  • Identify all orders unable to be shipped and contact the customer for resolution.
  • Monitor order's start and stop ship dates.
  • Prepare, communicate and distribute special services. This includes rush and expedited orders, labels, tags, tabs, slips and product stuffers.
  • Route customer's freight based on compliance guidelines.
  • Generate and maintain daily ship schedules.
  • Communicate with carriers to schedule pick-ups.
  • Check in drivers upon arrival.
  • Communicate with sales and customer service teams on any issues.
  • Realign freight carrier selection based on size and weight of order.
  • Follow up with freight carrier and customer, when no routing response is achieved.
  • Ensure that same day shipments are completed.
  • Maintain the order status report and clear orders older than today.
  • Identify orders with incorrect statuses and move to confirmed, shipped and invoiced.
  • Communicate any late shipments to managers and customer.
  • Process foreign order paperwork.


Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of inventory management, distribution or warehousing experience.
  • Ability to work inside in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Good eye/hand coordination is essential.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business manuals and instructions.

Qualifications
Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) to three (3) years of inventory management, distribution or warehousing experience.
Ability to work inside in varying temperatures.
Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Good eye/hand coordination is essential.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business manuals and instructions. (preferred)
