Position Summary:

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operations at Cirtec Medical to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment for manufacturing, labs, offices, and common areas. This role plays a critical part in upholding facility hygiene standards, managing janitorial staff, coordinating supply needs, and ensuring regulatory cleanliness-especially in support of controlled or cleanroom environments. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



  • Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial activities across the facility, ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor and inspect work performed to ensure compliance with established cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Assign cleaning tasks to janitorial team based on daily/weekly schedules and facility needs.
  • Maintain supply inventory; request and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Train and onboard new janitorial staff in proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  • Respond promptly to urgent cleaning or sanitation issues (e.g., spills, biohazards, machine areas).
  • Coordinate with department leads and the Facilities team to ensure cleaning support for production, labs, restrooms, break areas, and offices.
  • Track attendance, approve timecards, and provide feedback to team members in partnership with HR.
  • Support vendor coordination and waste disposal logistics as needed.
  • Report equipment issues or repair needs to Facilities or Maintenance promptly.


Must Have



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Strong understanding of janitorial practices, cleaning chemical use, and equipment handling.
  • Ability to lead by example and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling, inventory tracking, timekeeping and reporting.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform manual tasks.


Good to Have



  • 3+ years of janitorial experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or cleanroom environment.
  • Previous experience in a medical device or cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, FDA regulations, or GMP cleaning protocols.
  • CPR or first-aid certification.
  • Knowledge of lean 5S or Kaizen principles for workplace organization.
  • Experience using janitorial scheduling software or CMMS tools.
