Summary

Mederi Private Care is looking to hire a RN Clinical Director to oversee the in home care of our PEDS clients in the Orlando area! This is a full time in office position offering benefits, PTO, and a competitive salary.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the coordination of high quality, cost-effective patient care. This position is responsible for the clinical operations and work flow of the agency including performance of and/or oversight of crucial activities including scheduling, staffing, intake, physician communications, billing and reimbursement process, and overall compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, supervises and ensures high quality cost-effective patient care and services. This includes overseeing: referral coordination, assuring that patient needs are continually assessed and coordinated, and assuring the development, implementation, adherence and updates of the patient's individualized plan of care.
  • Ensures coordination with physician, family, and other clinicians involved in care as appropriate.
  • Communicates effectively with staff to ensure they are informed and educated through staff orientation, case conferences, mandatory in-services, including but not limited to monthly staff/safety meetings.
  • Ensures that only qualified personnel are hired and competent to perform all services and tasks assigned, including ensure licensure and certification requirements are met.
  • Provides in home visits as needed.
  • Provides oversight and ensures accurate completion of clinical medical record documentation, including electronic visit verification.
  • Assists with complaint investigation, resolution, and follow-up as assigned.
  • Provides oversight to the agency's infection control plan and practice.
  • Serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator in the absence of the Executive Director.
  • Participates in the organization's Performance Improvement and Compliance Programs including adherence to policy and procedures and the development, implementation, and completion of action plans.
  • All other duties assigned.



Education and Experience

  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of PEDS RN related experience preferred. Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Current CPR
  • Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.


Skill Requirements:

  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations and regulatory requirements is preferred.
