Job Duties:
The Facilities Director at the School of Veterinary Medicine has the overall responsibility for assuring the safe and operational physical environment that allows the school's faculty, staff, and students to conduct instruction, research, and clinical service. The director oversees building remodeling projects, maintenance, property inventory management, building administrative functions, safety, building access and building security. Key Job Responsibilities:
Manage deliveries and mail.
Manages building access and oversees building security system.
Serves as property manager for the SVM and has oversight and responsibility of occupant emergency plans. Department: School of Veterinary Medicine. This position will report to the Associate Dean of Advancement and Administration in the Deans Office. Compensation: Minimum $110,197 Required Qualifications: 3 years experience independently managing complex facilities.Demonstrated excellent customer service Demonstrated strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing facilities for biomedical or biological research program.Comprehensive knowledge of University of Wisconsin facility services and building operations. Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
