We're actively seeking a talented Life New Business Specialized Regulatory Support Specialist to join our Life New Business Operational Support Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.

As a Life New Business Specialized Regulatory Support Specialist you'll move Pacific Life, and your career forward by being key point of contact for daily operational support with the CMD Life New Business internal and external partners. Individuals in this role will support customer inquiries, vendor inquiries, and process regulatory functions within New Business. This individual will successfully provide issue resolution, evaluating work to ensure process and resource optimization, and work alignment with business goals and contractual expectations. You will fillan existing role that sits on a team of11+ people in theConsumer MarketsDivision. Your colleagues will includefellowoperational support coordinators and specialists. You will be joining a highly collaborative team focused on improving the customer experience through engaged and purposefulinteractions.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Reviews new business applications for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance, resolving any problems with application before entering application and/or contract information in system

  • Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience.

  • Has established skills to perform a range of financial, 1035, and/or regulatory tasks.

  • Handles Inbound and Outbound Calls as needed to external business partners.

  • Supports basic team workflow management and facilitate morning huddles.

  • The ability to process efficiently in multiple operating systems

  • Supports basic training and coaching

  • Supports basic questions in team chat.

The experience you bring:

  • 2+ year college degree or relevant experience

  • Familiarity with operational new business models

  • Ability to work fairly autonomously within established procedures reaching out to supervisor and or team lead with recommendations that are solution oriented to processing issues (or case questions) that arise.

  • Ability to utilize company resources effectively.

  • Ability to understand more difficult concepts as it relates to New Business

  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to a changing environment

  • Experience in Life or Annuity operations

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$22.24 - $27.18
