Overview

This position is a contract role, remote or hybrid out of Poughkeepsie, NY or Malta, NY. The contract duration is 5 months (8/18/25-1/18/25) 40 hours per week. HVCU's working hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. Payrate: $62.50/hr

Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) is seeking a Program Manager, Organizational Development (Contract) to craft and evolve learning experiences that support emerging and seasoned leaders. You'll design programs that are inclusive, experiential, and rooted in real-world leadership challenges, growing a community of empowered change-makers across our organization.

In addition to designing program goals, objectives, and supporting documentation (Learner Guides, Worksheets, Design Documents), you'll focus on measuring the impact of our programs on the individual and organizational levels. You'll launch and oversee programs employing your refined project management skills, ensuring great experiences for our learners as well as our internal departmental partners. You will be an integral part of the Organizational Development Team as we continue to support HVCU's important mission.


Responsibilities

  • Design relevant and engaging organizational development programs that align with HVCU's mission Organizational Development team goals.
  • Launch and manage programs reliably and efficiently, including logistics, scheduling, and communications.
  • Assess learner and organizational needs using a consultative approach
  • Create performance assessments and measurement plans for programs, including regular reporting for an executive audience
  • Gather industry research and present reports on industry best practices
  • Establish cooperative relationships with the Organizational Development team, stakeholders, and the broader HR team to enable teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. This includes the Credit Union's Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Sales and Service Model, and commitment to Lean Six Sigma practices. Support the Credit Union's initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
  • Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 Years designing, developing, and managing learning programs with a portfolio of work samples is required.
  • Minimum 5 Years of group facilitation experience (virtual and in-person) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 Years experience in instructional design or curriculum design is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 Years experience in the Financial Services Industry, Credit Union, or related field is preferred.
