About the role:
Boston Scientific seeks a dynamic Senior Project Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives within Finance. You'll serve as both a project manager and internal consultant, converting complex business issues into actionable projects. This exciting role is ideal for an agile, motivated professional with a broad skill set in project management, process improvement, change management, and workshop facilitation, ready to impact Global Finance and enterprise priorities.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:




  • Lead and execute high-priority, highly complex projects across Finance and broader enterprise functions



  • Oversee project and program management activities, including timelines, deliverables, risk management, and executive-level communications



  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional problem-solving sessions to drive alignment and outcomes



  • Manage and enhance critical business processes with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and measurable impact



  • Serve as a key partner and advisor to senior leadership, fostering proactive relationships and influencing outcomes at all organizational levels.



  • Navigate ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities, providing clarity and structure to new and ongoing initiatives.



  • Act as a bridge at the intersection of Finance and other functions (such as IT, HR, and Operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.





Required qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field



  • 10+ years of experience in complex, cross-functional project or program management roles; 8+ years with a relevant graduate degree



  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and leading process improvement efforts



  • Proven success working within large, matrixed organizations



  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Miro)



  • Finance-related experience through prior work in Finance, Accounting, GBS, or significant leadership of Finance-focused projects (e.g., integration workstreams, transformation programs)


  • Ability to travel up to 10%



Preferred qualifications:



  • Project management, change management, process improvement, and/or problem-solving certifications (ex. PMP, Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Significant experience leading initiatives at the intersection of Finance and other functions (e.g., Finance + IT, Finance + HR).
  • Comfort with ambiguity; skilled at project scoping and problem-solving to meet internal customers' needs; proven ability to work through roadblocks
  • Ability to effectively manage a broad portfolio of competing projects and priorities.
  • Highly collaborative; wins trust and earns respect at all levels of organization.
  • Influences effectively without authority and manages senior-level stakeholders
  • Learns quickly; willing to delve deeply into project details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated proficiency to effectively distill complex topics to enable prioritization and decision-making.
  • A demonstrated desire and commitment to meaningfully contribute to organizational culture.
  • Experience in medical device or similar regulated industries

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
