POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead, Brand Innovation will support the development and execution of innovation initiatives across the Atrium and Medical Nutrition brands within the Professional Health business unit. This role will help translate the multi-year innovation strategy into actionable projects, focusing on product, claims, partnership, and business model innovation that meets the needs of healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and consumers.

The Lead will work closely with cross-functional partners (incl. Finance, Sales, Insights, Regulatory, and Marketing) to help drive the innovation pipeline from concept through commercialization. The Lead will also contribute to opportunity assessments and innovation business cases by supplying analytical thinking and keen financial evaluations aligned with brand and business objectives.

Additionally, the lead will leverage digital tools and innovative technologies to enhance delivery and effectivenesscontinuously exploring new digital trends to keep at the forefront of industry standards.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative executor with a strong sense of initiative, curiosity, and a passion for delivering meaningful health and wellness solutions to our consumers.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Innovation Project Execution and Commercialization

  • Support the development and execution of a multi-year innovation roadmap across the entire HCP/patient/consumer experience and across product, channel, and MBS
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, regulatory, marketing, supply chain) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of innovation initiatives
  • Track and report on project milestones, timelines, and risks to ensure alignment with broader innovation goals
  • Contribute to the development of innovation-related brand assets, including packaging briefs, product positioning, and messaging frameworks

Forecasting & Financial Support

  • Develop initial volume forecasts, pricing assumptions, and basic financial models to support innovation business cases
  • Assist in analyzing innovation ROI, including cannibalization assessments and incremental revenue potential

Industry Trends, Market Analysis, & Insight Activation

  • Regularly monitor industry publications, emerging technologies, and macro trends to identify emerging innovation themes
  • Monitor and compile competitive product activity benchmarking summaries to identify whitespace opportunities and points of differentiation
  • Partner with Insights and Brand teams to translate HCP, patient, and consumer research into actionable inputs for innovation
  • Assist in planning and executing need gap analyses, concept testing, and claims validation studies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing or a related discipline
  • MBA a plus!
  • 7+ years in brand marketing with 1+ of those years of experience in innovation strategy and product development
  • Experience in consumer insights, KOL engagement, and competitive analysis
  • Experience in nutrition, health, wellness, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus
  • Developed business acumen, with financial experience in pricing and forecasting
  • Analytical rigor (research assessment, business performance data, financial assessments

SKILLS:

  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure optimal productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to understand insights and begin translating into actionable innovation
  • Collaborative, strong team player
  • History of collaboration in cross-functional innovation teams for development and/or launch
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use digital tools and technologies to improve work outcomes, with a strong understanding of emerging digital trends and their relevance in a modern workplace

The approximate pay range for this position is $ 135,000- $145,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
