What to Expect
As a Technical Associate Manager, you will have the critical task of managing the priorities and tasks of the Process Technician Team. Your experience in fast-paced production lines as well as strong manufacturing ramp background will make you an ideal candidate for this role. You have a passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing the next generation of technicians and supervisors. You are very hands-on, energetic, and have a capacity to think critically on many different complicated processes. Your proven ability to collaborate with employees, peers, and managers is one of your key strengths for success.
What You'll Do
- Build a strong, motivated process technician team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets
- Maintain a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability
- Empower the process technicians and supervisors to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability and line productivity
- Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement and ensure production teams receive effective training and workforce development
- Develop supervisory teams for individual professional development
- Ensure process teams utilize standardized work and consistent work practices across shifts and areas
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering experience
- 3+ years managing teams of people in a production environment
- Extensive detailed analysis experience to make data-driven decisions and summarize results for executives.
- Experience in process development and equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing and 6-Sigma principles (6-sigma certification preferred)
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Proficient with MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
