Summary:

The Mid-Level Business Systems Analyst will work with domain stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical tasks, support compliance tracking, and assist in planning data product delivery aligned with CJIS strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess business propositions, including strategic alignment, cost/benefit, and risks, to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define product approaches that meet user needs, aligning with the business strategy.
• Map and evaluate risks related to product approaches, proposing mitigation strategies and solutions.
• Work with teams to define how user and financial benefits will be realized and measured.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on comprehensive business analysis and risk assessments.
• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and user needs.
• Assist in the design and deployment of data products by ensuring alignment with data governance and data mesh strategies.
• Collaborate with data domain teams to develop scalable and effective data solutions that support self-service analytics.
• Monitor compliance with data governance standards, including data privacy, access control, and lineage management.
• Contribute to organizational training initiatives for data stewards and users, supporting the adoption of data mesh principles and data governance best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
• Provide team specific training as needed.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of business/data analysis experience.
• U.S. citizenship and a minimum active Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with data governance and Agile frameworks.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SAFe practices.
• Must have the ability to report onsite as needed in Clarksburg, WV

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $115,000.00.Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
