Reingold is hiring a senior-level (6+ years), subject matter expert in Veteran healthcare to oversee and support a portfolio of work focused on healthcare digital services, communications, and training. This is a new role, in support of a federal contract valued at greater than $200 million over a seven-year period.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week on site at Reingold's headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Here's the role:

As a key member of our team supporting the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA), you will serve as a Program Manager responsible for managing overall contract support operations, leading multiple projects and teams of personnel, and ensuring the successful completion of contract support activities.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple
  • projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, effectively interfacing with various stakeholders.
  • Exercise authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support project efforts.
  • Establish and modify (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
  • Craft and enforce a comprehensive quality control program to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance; implementing improvements when necessary.

This role is a good fit for someone with these qualifications, experience and skills:

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • At least 12years of professional experience in project or program management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with various stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to navigate and resolve conflicts that may arise within a matrixed team structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate tasks, provide guidance, and promote a positive team environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building productive relationships with team
  • members from various departments, companies, or disciplines.
  • Motivated, hard-working self-starter who is organized, consistent, persistent, and able to achieve results and develop solution options for program issues independently
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have experience managing programs in the VA - OR - Have experience managing VA telehealth or VA home health - OR - Have experience in a commercial setting in the management or development of digital health products and/or programs.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
  • Experience working with government agencies or in the health care industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing virtual or telehealth projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:This position may supervise one or more employees and will report to a Senior Director/Vice President in Reingold's VA account for career growth.

Work environment and physical requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Travel: Up to 10% of travel time expected for the position within the Continental United States (CONUS), as well as local travel to support client meetings within the broader DC metro area. If the individual is not local to the DC metro area, additional travel may be required to support meetings in the DC metro area.
