Job Duties: Vice President, Financial Accounting with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Perform fund accounting and financial reporting for entities which invest in foreign and domestic debt and equity investments accounted for at fair value. Lead daily postings to the general ledger, investor distribution analysis, management fee calculations, quarterly financial reporting, and numerous ad hoc regulatory reporting requests (including federal and SEC requests). Coordinate the audit process, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, lender reporting, and investor reporting. Assist in identifying process improvements and documenting policies and procedures. Ensure that all staff are adequately trained and that all work among the staff and other fund groups is performed in a standardized manner.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Employer will accept bachelor's degree equivalent based on single degree, combination of degrees, combination of degree(s) and/or diploma(s) and/or certification(s) / membership(s) / professional credentials, where determined to be equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree by a qualified credential evaluation service. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with the following: performing accounting activities for debt and equity investments; conducting financial audits, including working with external auditors to provide audit support and respond to audit inquiries; working with U.S. General Accepted Accounting (GAAP); and reviewing financial statements, general ledger postings and fluctuations in profit & loss.
