Position Summary/ Department Summary: Provides patient visit support to Ophthalmology Program. Works with clinical and research staff/clinicians to organize patient visits and clinical flow. Key Responsibilities: Prepares clinical rooms, orders and stocks supplies and medications, and coordinates with other departments for supply delivery and pickup; assists with procedures as needed. Ensures efficient patient flow and accurate preparation and communication of clinical documents for specified areas. Supports regulatory compliance efforts, including Joint Commission requirements. Obtains quotes for equipment purchases, coordinates repairs, and manages related logistics. Performs diagnostic imaging including external, slit lamp, and fundus photography; edits and uploads images; conducts visual field testing and intraocular pressure measurement; administers eye drops. Manages electronic patient records, assists with scheduling and phone support, and helps with contact lens sessions, cleaning, and inventory.
