Outpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Chatham County!

Position Information:

* Full-time opportunity for an outpatient provider

* Position will be split between Chatham Primary Care and Family Medicine at Pittsboro

* Provide direct patient care in office setting.

* Experience with Epic is preferred.

Responsibilities:

* Provide patient care for adults and children through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health needs.

* Provide medication management and perform psychiatric evaluations for patients pursuing OP services.

* Provide psychiatric leadership and direction for the treatment team under the supervision of physician psychiatrist.

Position Qualifications:

* 2-plus years of experience

* Licensed and certified PMHNP; ANCC or AANP Board Certified

Education Requirements:
* Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
* Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Demonstrated clinical competency.
* Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
* Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
* Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
