Position Title: Retail Supervisor

Business Unit: Retail

Position Reports to: Retail Sr. Manager/ Store Manager

Positions Reporting to this Role: Retail Cashiers / Sales Associates

Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington

Wage Range: $23.00-27.00/hr. DOE

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a strong leader for the Retail team, that provides an engaging customer experience through friendly and efficient service. You will promote employee learning and customer service through encouragement and coaching. Looking for an upbeat personality with organizational skills who enjoys challenges and seeing results. Can teach excellent customer service, product knowledge, and is responsible for the store's appearance. Works with the store manager and Sr. Manager to maintain floor expectations and to help manage inventory levels and needs. Needs to have the ability to learn the computer inventory system and the knowledge to run and troubleshoot the POS and operating systems. Can assist Cashiers with customer issues, warranties, exchanges, and online orders. Can see/provide daily tasks and projects for staff to complete. Can take charge and make quality decisions supporting the team. Is forward-thinking and great at planning for future operations and retail events. Can work cohesively with other positions & departments to support the overall resort strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Providing the tools needed for the staff to learn and grow.
  • Addressing guest's needs and guiding them regarding their options for purchase.
  • Transferring inventory between locations and performing/overseeing POS transactions.
  • Maintaining inventory levels and communicating needs with management.
  • Partnering with management team to improve merchandising, and floor displays
  • Leads by example, and serve as a role model for associates
  • Maximize sales opportunities by restocking as needed, merchandising products, providing input about inventory levels, and attending store clinics to obtain maximum product knowledge.
  • Contributes to a safe work environment by following safety practices and keeping the overall store appearance clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Contributes a consistent and smooth flow of operations by communicating needs and internal problems with manager.
  • Creates consistency in daily opening and closing procedures and duties.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-

  • This position requires the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position at least 40 pounds regularly.
  • Auditory and visual acuity to learn and operate computers, programs, phones, mobile devices and office equipment.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling occasionally.
  • Has the ability to talk, listen and ask questions in the process of communicating with guests and employees.
