RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring platform level performance for the XIG Public Strategies vertical. This will result in developing a deep understanding of performance calculations, understanding data flows within the XIG infrastructure and liaising with most other teams in XIG Public Strategies and Engineering
  • Own end-to-end production of quarterly track record for the Public Strategies investment vertical which is used in marketing materials for current and prospective clients
  • Hands-on involvement in performance oversight of XIG Public Strategies multi-manager vehicle platform and large public pension plan client mandate
  • Active involvement in Public Strategies strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, partnering with Engineering (Technology and Strats) to enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency
  • Some responsibility for onboarding external investment managers to XIG platform


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience; preferably in asset management
  • Familiarity with performance concepts such as Modified Dietz, daily linked IRR, Brinson Attribution a plus
  • CFA or CIPM preferred but not required
  • Solid understanding of public markets investment structures, strategies, and instruments
  • Strong communication, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven project planning, organization, and time management skills. The candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience in technology projects is a plus
  • Detail-oriented
