Staff Reliability Engineer Location:Calvert City, Kentucky
Division:Fluorochemicals (DFL) / Fluoropolymers (DFP)
Reports To:Maintenance Operations Manager Arkema is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer to join our team in Calvert City, KY.This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement in plant reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance (40%)
- Maintain and optimize SAP/PM Computerized Maintenance Management System (10%)
- Support Mechanical Integrity programs for pressure vessels, tanks, relief devices, and rotating equipment (10%)
- Conduct equipment failure analysis and troubleshooting (10%)
- Additional responsibilities (30%) include:
- Collaborating on capital projects
- Performing equipment criticality assessments
- Reporting on reliability KPIs
- Supporting predictive maintenance (vibration, infrared, lubrication, etc.)
- Assisting with field coordination and supervision of projects
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (2-3 years for internal candidates from Arkema's Developing Engineer Program)
- Strong knowledge of fixed and rotating equipment, instrumentation, and project engineering
- Familiarity with SAP/PM, predictive maintenance tools, and industry codes (RAGAGEP)
- Six Sigma Greenbelt certification is a plus

Work Environment
- Based at Arkema's Calvert City site with minimal travel
