What to Expect
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Reliability Engineer to optimize asset performance and operational efficiency. The Reliability Engineer will spearhead the development and execution of predictive and preventative maintenance programs, drive cross-departmental root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and enhance equipment reliability to maximize availability and minimize costs. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and a strategic focus on continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance programs using tools like thermography, vibration analysis, and IoT condition monitoring
  • Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to extend critical asset life through optimized maintenance strategies
  • Improve work management processes to enhance maintenance efficiency and productivity
  • Lead cross-departmental Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
  • Optimize preventative maintenance schedules by analyzing data to reduce downtime
  • Implement strategies to increase equipment availability aligned with operational goals
  • Reduce maintenance costs through proactive reliability improvements and cost-effective practices
  • Foster a culture of reliability and continuous improvement by mentoring and sharing best practices
  • Monitor KPIs to track reliability metrics, maintenance effectiveness, and cost performance
  • Adopt new technologies and IoT solutions to enhance condition monitoring and predictive maintenance

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience or Certified Reliability Engineer/Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional certification preferred
  • 5+ years of reliability engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing
  • Expertise in predictive maintenance techniques (thermography, vibration analysis, IoT monitoring)
  • Proven experience leading RCFA and implementing corrective actions
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Minitab or JMP
  • Demonstrated success in improving MTBF, equipment availability, and maintenance cost efficiency
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with CMMS and ERP systems for work order and asset management
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies highly desirable
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence
