Job Title: Contract Conformance Specialist III

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Location: Houston, TX 77079


Responsibilities:

  • Support sourcing and administration of executed contractual arrangements for capital and maintenance projects.
  • Manage documentation and communication flow between Company and Contractor to ensure contract compliance.
  • Facilitate resolution of contractual matters and ensure timely identification and communication of issues.
  • Collaborate with legal, project management, construction management, procurement, and other departments.
  • Draft and support contract documents including purchase orders, work releases, exhibits, and technical scopes.
  • Ensure incorporation of contractor clarifications and project-specific requirements into final contract documents.
  • Support contract negotiations during bidding and formation phases.
  • Review contractor submissions and provide notifications of non-compliance.
  • Maintain contractor correspondence logs and manage contract-related documentation.
  • Prepare change directives, review contractor change requests, and manage approved change orders.
  • Organize and document all contract-related meetings, agendas, and meeting notes.
  • Review contractor invoices and assist with contract closeout and audit support.
  • Provide weekly status updates and maintain communication with the SCM Supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Legal, Technical, or Business with minimum 4 years of relevant experience

    OR

    Associate degree with 7-10 years of experience in contract administration or construction projects, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Familiarity with contracting best practices and construction project lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, writing, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Oracle.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work independently.
  • Experience supporting complex contract negotiations and administering contracts of up to $400MM in value.
