Responsibilities

The Sponsor is a high-level learning institution where skills-specific tradecraft training divisions combine with new programs to leverage private sector opportunities, support the Directorate's corporate career development, and raise digital acumen throughout the Sponsor organization.

The principal role of the Systems Integrator (SI) is to provide integration management support to multiple projects simultaneously to ensure efficient and timely cross-project coordination of plans, facilities, technical resources, project schedules, status reporting, briefings, and issues. The contractor shall:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and improve office workflow
  • Participate in meetings with organization principals to coordinate activities, including meetings and updating calendars, as needed
  • Be proactive with demonstrated experience multitasking in a fast-paced and demanding technical environment
  • Respond directly to inquiries when appropriate or take action to facilitate resolution of a range of inquiries and concerns related to the supported mission
  • Vet and refer visitors, callers, email, and other correspondence to the appropriate internal, IC, or other external contact rather than the principal when feasible
  • Provide oversight of activities by monitoring progress to ensure organization principals are aware of all task statuses
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
  • Provide information or respond accurately to routine to moderately complex questions and/or technical/administrative issues and requests in a clear, concise, credible, and courteous manner, and in an appropriate way

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience) in liberal arts studies, communications, or another associated discipline
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Excellent communication and writing skills to compose correspondence on behalf of senior executives
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience coordinating, drafting, and providing responses to Action Items; ability to synthesize information from various resources
  • Motivated self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently; self-starter
  • A working knowledge and experience with the following tools in order of their importance to the position: Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Office, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Other

  • Office core hours are from 0900 hours to 1500 hours
  • Travel will be limited to the DMV area
