Knowledge Manager, Mid The Opportunity: As a Knowledge Manager, you will apply knowledge management methodology to develop processes for a DoD client to enable and improve their organizational efficiencies to support the defense mission. You will perform information management functions, includingposting, editing, distributing, and maintaining appropriate content on classified and unclassified websites and portals. You will organize data, establish file structures, and ensure information is captured and stored in locations accessible to authorized users. You will also ensure proper security protocols are used to protect classified, proprietary, and personally identifiable information. You will be able to leverage your Microsoft (MS) SharePoint skills to search, discover, store, and retrieve data. You'll work independently with minimal guidance. As a Knowledge Manager on our team, you'll help your client understand their operational landscape. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. You'll assist with aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production. You'll use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, and records management systems and shape workflow and processes. You'll compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, including search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings. You will disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
