Safety Program Manager As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen. A Safety Program Manager will be responsible for the direction of the contracts Safety programs and policies. Responsible for compliance with all safety regulations and administering a comprehensive accident prevention/Safety program. Provide assessments and guidance relating to hazardous conditions that pose a risk to the health and safety of employees. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Safety Program Manager: Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Safety Program Manager Responsibilities Include: * Leads, develops, and implements a Comprehensive Safety program. * Acts as the champion to ensure proper investigation and follow-up is taken on safety concerns, near misses, and incidents. * Ensuring that all accidents, incidents, and near-misses are promptly reported to the appropriate personnel or authorities. * Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the work site to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. * Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid protocols, and emergency contact information. * Performs other job-related duties as assigned. * Responsible and liability for compliance with all applicable regulations pertaining to the health and safety of personnel during the execution of work. * Responsible for implementing and exercising a site-specific safety plan for work performed at the Red River Army Depot and this safety plan must be approved by Red River Army Depot safety office. * Red River Army Depot is an OSHA VPP site. The safety manager is required to maintain compliance with all OSHA VPP requirements. OSHAS 18001-2007 * The Safety manager is responsible for ensuring all CNAS contractors and subcontractors/Vendors are aware of the OSHA VPP site requirements. Safety Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: * Ability to assess risks in the workplace, develop risk management strategies, and implement effective safety measures. * Skills in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. * OSHA standards for construction sites. * Government safety protocols. * Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate safety policies, procedures, and regulations to employees and management. * Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, standards, and codes through regular audits, inspections, and reviews. * Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Compile and analyze safety data and statistics, prepare reports on safety performance, and communicate findings to management and regulatory authorities as required. * Continuously evaluate and improve safety programs and practices based on industry's best practices, emerging trends, and feedback from stakeholders. * U.S. citizenship. * Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
