Chief of Radiology I City of Hope Atlanta City of Hope Atlanta (Newnan) has launched a national search for a Chief of Radiology who will provide leadership to our department of Radiology in clinical, research, and education areas. The next Chief of Radiology will be a highly regarded physician with a collaborative, team-based leadership style, and the ability to leverage and grow our existing, nationally recognized program. The Chief must also be operationally savvy, with the business acumen and cultural sensitivity to lead within a complex, matrixed organization. Primary Responsibilities The department of Radiology at City of Hope Atlantauses sophisticated, minimally invasive diagnostic technology to detect cancer cells with precision and accuracy. This helps us develop a targeted cancer treatment plan for each patient. The department includes 5 providers across a variety of services and includes board-certified diagnostic radiologists and board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional radiologists. The department also includes technologists registered in their specialties (e.g., ultrasound, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine), as well as interventional radiology-trained nurses. The ideal candidate will be a respected Radiologist with a distinguished national reputation. The Chief should exhibit a commitment to the advancement of patient care, quality, financial, budgetary, compliance, and regulatory efficiencies, and provide leadership and vision for the Department's clinical services in an integrated academic medical center environment. Mentoring junior faculty is an essential part of this position.
